While I had a bit of experience with web and graphic design in internships in the past, what really sparked my interest in web design was a series of events that began in 2013. 

That year, I asked a disabled gentleman of a small social network I belonged to at the time if he wanted any assistance with the site design, as he seemed really quite dissatisfied with the initial state of his communities website, and he was more than happy to accept my assistance. During my tenure there I came up with a number of design iterations, each one pleasing the owner and his admins more than the last, and along the way I found a mentor skilled in Javascript, and I learned a great deal about HTML, CSS, and site design in general. Some time later, we moved from Ning to Social Engine, which was much more advanced, and thankfully I was more than up for the task, the social engine site did so well that I started looking to get into the web design field professionally. And so in 2015, what started as a hobby, became my career and my passion.

Web Design is important to me because it can take an idea, some photographs, and a bit of verbiage and make it something huge, something truly magnificent in both its appearance and usability, to make it a truly memorable experience. I’ve always had a fascination in design, motion, and interactivity. Growing up I wanted to be a game designer, I got a degree in animation, and along the way I began to understand what I really wanted was to create experiences through design, and in doing so make peoples lives more fruitful, and prosperous.
